I have the most loudest noise coming from a compressor for the air suspension, even when ingnition is switched off. I”ve had to disconnect the battery to shut it up? Is this an easy fix?

From a complete laymans’ point of view, I would think that the compressor should switch of at a preordained pressure. If it is not then there must be a short within its’ own circuits. As a short term fix, fitting a switch in the power feed to the compressor would allow some control.
Perhaps there is a leak which means the compressor never reaches the set pressure.
