Sliding Door Lock Barrel and Linkage - Where to get one??
Hello VWLT,
I have a 1990 panel van.
My issue is my sliding door does not have a lock barrel. When opening the door whilst camping last year the whole barrel cam out with the key.
Is still have the barrel (somewhere) but not the linkage between the end of the barrel and the lock. I assume this fell in to the grass?!? It wasn't until got home and checked I realised this was missing.
I have been scouring the web ever since but cannot find this part.
Any advice?
Additionally I have been considering upgrading what is a partial camper conversion buy adding a window in this sliding door. My next question is how is easy would it been to acquire and fit a new door resolving my initial problem?
